Interestingly, this unconference format is not widely used at events or meet-ups like this but in open-space designs. This event was interesting because the discussions that took place were more interactive. Only one person gave material, continued with Q&A, and finally finished. However, here, as a facilitator, I also learn. I'm one of many sharing this with other participants, but I can also learn a lot from the questions asked by the participants. I CAN GET things I never thought of before from the participants' questions.

My background came from an organization, a career as an employee who has been in the world of transformation, change management, and agility for the last five years. The impression of being an Agile Innovation Space facilitator is something I'm grateful for because, for the first time, I've been able to take part in an event with the concept of unconference and open space. At first, I felt pessimistic about joining this event. I believe that agile cannot lead to chaos. Sometimes people think that being free is important, but if you are accessible without a purpose, you will lose many valuable things. However, the Agile Innovation Space event promotes opportunities for many people to democratize, hold conferences, gather many ideas and topics, and provide opportunities for the public to contribute to events. This only sometimes works for some occasions. It can be run at this innovation event, but it won't be accessible if it is held in a bureaucratic organization.

This is the first time I have come to the Agile Innovation Space event, and the enthusiasm from my friends who participated is extraordinary. That's what I feel and observe in other friends because this is a great event for friends to share directly and from the networking side. One word for AISpace: Awesome!

I have registered for a long time, and there is a waiting list. Wow, this event is exclusive, and space is limited. Wow, it seems even more exclusive, and for friends who can't participate in this event, can they become FOMO? And when the event is held, several event formats are interesting to me. One of them is the unconference session. So, there is one facilitator. This facilitator's primary goal is not to lead but more to the direction that all participants can join in with one another and express their own opinions. And that's a perfect lesson for me because everyone can have an idea and dare to voice their opinion.

I started forming the Agile Circle community in 2016 after I moved from the Netherlands to Bali. I lived in Bali and then built Ekipa in Jakarta. Regarding this Agile Innovation Space, we have been implementing it since 2016, and because of COVID-19, we cannot hold it anymore because this open space format is difficult to implement online. And I'm happy that today I see almost 100 people here at Manulife. The engagement of the participants with the event was quite good; we can see the participants volunteered to facilitate the sessions where there were six groups with three different sessions. Agile Innovation Space is becoming more attractive compared to the previous concept of a similar event. In the past, people were shy about suggesting topics to be discussed and didn't dare to interact with other participants and facilitators.
